I think i found it…….On January 31 2004 SCO Group Inc. in Colorado started experienceing DDOS attacks thanks to the MyDoom worm.
After all was said and done an estimated $38.5 billion USD in economic damage was done.
The SCO Group offered a $250,000 reward for the capture of the creator of the MyDoom.A virus and later Microsoft offered a $250,000 reward for the capture of the creator of the MyDoom.B virus. The rewards have yet to be claimed.
